Our Speech Pathologists
Shira Meltzer
Shira has been a speech-language pathologist since 2000. She has worked with children of varying ages in preschool clinics, schools, and private practice settings. Shira speaks English as well as some Spanish.Her specialties include speech sound therapy, tongue/lip/jaw strengthening, and language therapy for preschool and school-aged children who have autism or other challenges. Shira received her Master of Speech-Language Pathology degree from Lehman College (NYC), and her Bachelors of Arts in Speech pathology from Queens College. She is a certified member of the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the BC Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. She is registered by the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia and is on the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP) list.
